FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
to Alexa Glaser

We first talk about your house, your guests and your ideas. Afterwards you will receive an assessment of which crime format might suit your establishment. Only when concept, scope and implementation suit you, do you decide on collaboration.

More on this topic: Non-binding inquiry?

Depending on the concept, about 6 to 80 people can play simultaneously at an evening event. For a permanently integrated offering the number of guests is unlimited, as play happens independently of each other.

More on this topic: Number of guests?

No. The experience can be part of a stay that guests engage with independently of the time of day. The offering can run like a red thread through an evening or be combined with a meal. Integration is tailored individually to your establishment.

More on this topic: With a menu?

Yes. Menus, wine tastings, city tours, wellness offerings, overnight packages or other program items can be incorporated into the story upon request. This creates a coherent experience instead of an isolated add-on program.

More on this topic: Bookable add-on offering?

Absolutely. Historic buildings, cellars, gardens, restaurants, conference rooms, or special corners of your house can become part of the plot. It is precisely this connection of place and history that makes the experience special.

More on the topic: Our rooms?

No. You do not need experience with crime events. I accompany you from the first idea to implementation and develop a concept that fits your capabilities, spaces, and processes.

More on the topic: Possible even without experience?

As little as possible. After an initial conversation I develop the case and coordinate all important points with you. Your team can continue to focus on its guests.

More on the topic: A lot of effort?

Yes. Many venues can attract not only overnight guests but also visitors from the region with a crime experience. This creates an additional reason to visit your venue.

More on the topic: Offer for external guests?

The crime experience is suitable for hotel guests, corporate groups, tour groups, and visitors from the region. I even develop detective cases for children or teenagers. Together we define the target group so that the crime experience creates attractive added value.

More on the topic: Which target group?

Depending on the concept, the crime experience can be developed as a recurring event, a seasonal highlight, or a permanent offering. Multiple different cases or an ongoing crime series are also possible.

More on this topic: One-off or recurring event?

A tailored crime experience creates an additional reason to book and makes your property emotionally tangible. Guests take away not just a stay but a story. That generates conversation, memories, and recommendations.

More on this topic: Is it worth it?

Every story is created anew. Instead of ready-made standard cases, I develop a criminal case that fits your property, your target audience, and your atmosphere. This creates an experience that exists only with you.

More on this topic: How individual?

There is no stage, no audience, and no standard story. Your guests become part of the case themselves and experience your property from a new perspective. Each criminal case is developed individually and fits your operation exactly. No murder mystery dinner with actors, performed purely for entertainment, can offer that.

More on this topic: Classic murder mystery dinner?

Yes. A custom-developed crime experience turns your property itself into the setting of the story. Your rooms, your atmosphere, your region, or special details of your operation can feed into the case. This creates an experience that not only entertains guests but directly links them to your property.

More on this topic: Murder mystery dinner as marketing?

The price starts at about €2,900 per event. Since each story is developed individually and tailored to your company, you will receive a suitable quote after a short preliminary discussion.

More on the topic: Murder mystery dinner costs?

Changes in the number of participants, procedure, or schedule can usually be accommodated flexibly. Together we will find a suitable solution even at short notice.

More on the topic: Last-minute changes

In principle, yes. Depending on the composition of the team, content and procedure can be adapted. Just contact me so we can find the right solution.

More on the topic: International teams?

No. I take care of the complete preparation, execution, and moderation. You only provide the location and can relax and focus on your guests.

More on the topic: Effort and preparation?

The crime event can be held in almost any location. Whether company, hotel, restaurant or event venue: the concept is adapted to the respective circumstances. I operate throughout the whole of southern Germany.

More on the topic: Event location or restaurant?

As a rule, the event lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. However, it can be flexibly adapted to your schedule and either take place in a compact format or span the entire evening.

More on this topic: Murder mystery dinner duration?

The event is personally moderated by me. I guide the story, provide tension, structure, and the appropriate rhythm. This creates a professional yet relaxed flow in which all participants are optimally involved.

More on this topic: Moderated game?

Yes. For recurring events I develop new cases. On request, the stories can even be connected into an ongoing mystery series so that your employees solve a new case at each event.

More on this topic: Murder mystery events as a series?

Absolutely. Investigating together quickly gets people talking. Especially for cross-site teams, new employees, or mixed departments, this creates natural interaction.

More on this topic: Players don't know each other, a problem?

Because everyone is actively involved. Instead of a program item that is merely consumed, the team becomes part of the story. That creates conversation, shared successes and memories that last long after the evening.

More on this topic: Murder mystery dinner as a team event

No. Nobody has to perform in front of the group or act anything out. Participants solve puzzles together, collect clues and combine evidence. Those who want to contribute more can do so. Those who prefer to investigate as a team are equally welcome.

More on this topic: Do participants get roles?

Because everyone is actively involved. Instead of a program item that is merely consumed, the team becomes part of the story. That creates conversation, shared successes and memories that last long after the evening.

More on this topic: Murder mystery dinner as a company party?

On request, people, departments or typical company situations can be humorously incorporated into the story. I always ensure that everyone feels comfortable and that fun is the focus.

More on this topic: CEO as the victim?

Each crime event receives an individual plot developed specifically for your company. On request, your industry, your premises, your company headquarters or typical situations from everyday work life are incorporated into the case. This way no standard program is created, but a crime story that exists exactly once: with you.

More on this topic: Which story?

Because everyone is actively involved. Instead of a program item that is merely consumed, the team becomes part of the story. That creates conversation, shared successes and memories that last long after the evening.
