Custom crime experiences for hotels, event venues, and tourism providers
Developed by author Alexa Glaser: Custom crime experiences for company parties, hotels, and special locations.
I create tailor-made crime formats that expand your offerings, delight guests, and make your property or venue unmistakable. Whether hotel, bus tour, historical attraction, or event location: together we create an experience that goes far beyond a classic stay.
Which businesses are suitable for a crime experience?
Whether a hotel, event venue, bus tour operator or tourist business: Wherever people spend time together, a crime experience can become a special highlight.

Historic hotels & holiday hotels
For places with character where atmosphere, history and spaces themselves can become part of the experience.

Bus companies & group programs
As a special program item for group travel, during longer journeys, organized stays that should offer more than the standard.

Event venues & houses with supporting programs
For venues that want to expand their offering with a distinctive experience and thereby position themselves more clearly.

Tourist sites & experience providers
For locations that want to make their history and special features tangible in new ways.
How you benefit from a crime experience
Competition is growing. Many establishments offer nice rooms, good food and friendly service. What guests really remember are special experiences. A custom crime format creates exactly that difference.
Easily integrable
Depending on the concept, the crime experience can be implemented with minimal staff effort. Self-playable variants or video moderation are also possible.
Reusable
The concept is developed so that it works not just once but remains bookable as a permanent feature.
More booking incentives
A special experience creates additional booking occasions: tickets, packages, add-on services or longer stays can be specifically supported, as well as referrals.
Clear differentiation from the competition
Your establishment offers not just accommodation or dining, but an experience that guests will tell others about and remember positively.
This is how your crime experience can be structured
No hotel is the same. That’s why every crime experience is created individually. Together we develop the format that fits your guests, your premises, and your offerings.

As an integrated hotel experience
The crime experience is directly linked to your property or offering and becomes part of the stay. Guests book the experience in advance and receive, for example, a case file. Your offering becomes part of the story and provides a permanently playable experience.

As a self-playable format
The experience can be designed so guests can play it independently. This creates an offering with low staffing requirements and high flexibility-ideal for individual schedules and different groups.

With video moderation
Targeted video clips or the entire moderation require minimal staff and create an exciting, time-framed experience.

As a package
Combinable with overnight stays, a menu, wine tasting, or other services-perfect as a sellable package or special highlight for various target groups.

Non-binding inquiry?
How does a non-binding inquiry work?We first talk about your house, your guests and your ideas. Afterwards you will receive an assessment of which crime format might suit your establishment. Only when concept, scope and implementation suit you, do you decide on collaboration.
Number of guests?
How many guests can participate?Depending on the concept, about 6 to 80 people can play simultaneously at an evening event. For a permanently integrated offering the number of guests is unlimited, as play happens independently of each other.
With a menu?
Does the crime experience have to be combined with a menu? No. The experience can be part of a stay that guests engage with independently of the time of day. The offering can run like a red thread through an evening or be combined with a meal. Integration is tailored individually to your establishment.
Bookable add-on offering?
Can existing offerings be integrated?Yes. Menus, wine tastings, city tours, wellness offerings, overnight packages or other program items can be incorporated into the story upon request. This creates a coherent experience instead of an isolated add-on program.
Our premises?
Can our rooms be incorporated into the story?Absolutely. Historic buildings, cellars, gardens, restaurants, conference rooms, or special corners of your house can become part of the plot. It is precisely this connection of place and history that makes the experience special.
Possible even without experience?
Does our venue need prior experience with murder mystery dinners or events? No. You do not need experience with crime events. I accompany you from the first idea to implementation and develop a concept that fits your capabilities, spaces, and processes.
A lot of effort?
How much effort will this require from our team?As little as possible. After an initial conversation I develop the case and coordinate all important points with you. Your team can continue to focus on its guests.
Offer for external guests?
Is the offer also suitable for external guests?Yes. Many venues can attract not only overnight guests but also visitors from the region with a crime experience. This creates an additional reason to visit your venue.
Which target group?
For which guests is the offer suitable? The crime experience is suitable for hotel guests, corporate groups, tour groups, and visitors from the region. I even develop detective cases for children or teenagers. Together we define the target group so that the crime experience creates attractive added value.
One-time or recurring event?
Can we offer the experience regularly?Depending on the concept, the crime experience can be developed as a recurring event, a seasonal highlight, or a permanent offering. Multiple different cases or an ongoing crime series are also possible.
Is it worth it?
Why is a bespoke crime experience worthwhile?A tailored crime experience creates an additional reason to book and makes your property emotionally tangible. Guests take away not just a stay but a story. That generates conversation, memories, and recommendations.
How individual?
How individualized is the crime experience?Every story is created anew. Instead of ready-made standard cases, I develop a criminal case that fits your property, your target audience, and your atmosphere. This creates an experience that exists only with you.
Classic murder mystery dinner?
How does the concept differ from a classic murder mystery dinner? There is no stage, no audience, and no standard story. Your guests become part of the case themselves and experience your property from a new perspective. Each criminal case is developed individually and fits your operation exactly. No murder mystery dinner with actors, performed purely for entertainment, can offer that.
Murder mystery dinner as marketing?
Is a crime experience also a branding tool?Yes. A custom-developed crime experience turns your property itself into the setting of the story. Your rooms, your atmosphere, your region, or special details of your operation can feed into the case. This creates an experience that not only entertains guests but directly links them to your property.
Together we'll find the right concept
Maybe your hotel itself will become the crime scene. Maybe guests will discover clues between the courses of a menu. Or your property will receive a permanently playable crime format. Together we'll find the solution that fits your operation.
